I have been a member for a very long time. (under other names) I can remember a lot of questions about which one to buy.. (though not nearly as many recently, as way long ago)
The question seemed to usually want a response TELLING the person which one was actually better.
Seemed to be the person asking doubted his/her own hearing, and wanted someone to give an informed opinion.
Sometimes the questioner actually had no opportunity to listen to them both. In that case it made sense to ask around.
When it was a person too afraid to trust themselves.. The best answer was: LISTEN FOR YOURSELF..
At his point, I think a lot of folks really do understand the reason for listening for yourself. So the response is used less, as the question is also asked less. I think the answer may still be appropriate in some circumstances.
Also. with the rise of so many online reviews, more folks who are having trouble to make up thier own minds, have a lot more reviews and such to find answers than in the past. So this is another reason fewer folks ask the question "Which is better'..
