RE: If only this industry was called "High-end" bling instead of "High-end" audio ...

Well, I can say that we definitely lean in the same directions sonically but I will be damned if I can understand what you and some others hear in the AN speakers. To me they sound rolled off in the highs and sort of homogenize things. I have heard the upper middle level Es with everything from the lowly P1 through the Meishu Silver to the Jinro (is that right? Bottom of the line 211 based amp...still 20K though) and the same basic character remains...so much for compare and contrast. After coming from Acoustats and Apogee they sound carmel and veiled. I could see AN amps with big efficient Tannoys or my Odeons working well though.

The electronics seem fundamentally sound but i haven't got to hear them yet in my system. I will probably try an Oto se signature with the much beefier output iron.

How is that Line Magnetic LM219ia working out for you? I demoed one recently with a pair of Line Magnetic western electric horn speakers. Was pretty darn good but I am leaning more towards the LM210ia for my horns. 10 watts should be plenty.

What I am really eyeing now though is either AN Kits parallel 300b monos (the all C core version) or a pair of Transcendent sound SE OTLs (12 watts bridged mono).
