My new room is shaped like a barn with a flat top. This odd shape produces excellent results below 300hz. Better than any rectangular room I have been in. With my RTA I can see a node around 50hz up about 8db and a couple small and very narrow dips. (The room is 19ft long and has 2 skylights on one side which I think help break up things a bit more). So I think my answer would be this type of shape - making it with measurements with no factors (13X19X11 for example) would probably help even more
