Once, I heard a dvd soundtrack and said it was dry, and the guy who mastered it forgot to include that the ambience mic's had fallen down. I also listened to 10 tube types rolled in friend's integrated, and I picked Mullard and Telefunken as best.Done lots of other stuff like that, but even I am getting too old and just enjoy music instead. That's my advice.
I've got a young daughter and she's cool. She wants to use the RS AQ brush equivalent and help me manual wash records all the time. And she sometimes turns the volume for me when guests are over. Remotes are fun and she uses the Pioneer Elite one well. Asked her the other day, does it sound "real?" on a tube mastered LP, and she replied, "no, it sounds like a recording."
