Oy vey! My own daughter now questions me...

I was listening with my eyes closed over the weekend and my daughter decided to put my 'skills' to the test as they say.

She walked over to the left channel speaker and stood directly in front of it, an inch or two away. I noticed a vocalist appearing distinctly from the right side of the soundstage and I thought to myself, I don't recall that being the case on this recording. I then opened my eyes, wondering what was going on.

After a brief pause she asked "did you open your eyes because you heard something change?" I said "Yes, did you do something?" She then told me that she had placed herself in that position to see if I would notice anything different.

A short while later I asked, "Why did you do that?" With a twinkle in her eye she responded, "Oh, it was just an experiment." This being my typical response to her when she questions me about various P.W.B. tweaks lying about the house. I can recognize a lovely sceptic when I see one.
