Windows ME is the worst of them all, IMHO. XP is a much more solid, stable OS, especially with the NTFS file system. Macs are not crash-proof, no matter what the fans say, but the new OS X2 (Jaguar) will be very good after they get all the bugs out. I have tried Linux and it has a whole lot of different problems. I like Red Hat 8.0, though, and will install it next week as dual boot with XP Pro.
