RIP Listener Magazine: 1994 - 2002

Art,

I can't believe this horrible bit of news.

Listener has been topping all the lists I have seen in terms of favorite audio magazines.

Listener is also the ONLY audio magazine I read cover to cover. It has been the ONLY magazine that talks about listening to audio for musical and emotional enjoyment as opposed to the audiophilia nervosa promoted by the other magazines.

I look forward to the arrival of every issue. I just got the new issue yesterday and greedily stuffed in my briefcase for the train ride home from New York tonight. I am definitely going to savor every word on my ride home tonight.

So now I have only Total Audio Schlock and Stereophool to look forward to....and Lisa Astor is no longer writing in Stereophile (the best column they ever had IMHO).

If you decide to do this again and start another independent, you can count on my subscription!

Now where ill I go for a Bunny fix? I guess it's the Bunny Museum....

Dave
