The competition sounds like a good idea. Hope you can get it off the ground. The cloners can work out most of the likely circuit details from the available info, but we don't know for certain what the chip is.I'm not asking you to reveal what it is, but I'll be assuming its the LM3875 or an SK3875 for the 50W version.
With such a simple circuit the parts used may have a significant effect on the sonics. You never know,somebody might be able to improve on the Gaincard. What then?
