1) It's a DIY clone project. It's not a gaincard. If you guys bothered to read the content of the site you'd understand that clearly.2) The guy doesn't have excellent solder skills. BFD. He provided quite a bit of info on the site which included parts lists for multiple chips, construction details + pictures, and even a little bit of practical theory. That's a hell of lot more of a contribution to the hobbiest than all this armchair engineering. You think you can do a better job? Then DIY.
