The point of my post was to again highlight the cheap hobbyist Raspberry Pi as a viable high-end network streamer. Certainly Bryston, Boulder, and other high-end brands seem to think so. Yet some audiophiles continue to believe that only high-end brands with bespoke parts and technology (with prices to match) are capable of making audiophile grade gear.
There's also the outdated belief that only linear power supplies are to be used in high-end audio. Not so.
