I don't know what connection will sound better: power cord shield connected to chassis or shield left floating. You can wire the shield to a 9-volt battery snap connector so that you can experiment with it. Another battery snap can be wired as a short, and you can listen with it connected or disconnected to see which way is better.Good luck!
