While I agree that the Furutech FI-11M(Cu) AC plug is a nominally warm sounding AC plug, the Otto Heil IEC connector (which I'm familiar with) is likely the prime factor concerning the power cord's tonal issue. I don't find the FI-11M(Cu) to sound warmer than the gold Oyaide P-079 AC plug, while I do find the P-079 to offer substantially higher performance listening cues and an "actual warmth of information" so to speak. I find the P-079 to present a more open and resolved midrange which offers more information to "bloom from" as actual tonal warmth, as well as a more articulated and authoritative bottom end which also contributes to it's nominally warm sonic signature. The combined use of a gold 079 Oyaide AC plug with a gold 079 Oyaide IEC connector should offer what he needs, IMHO. just my 2 cents
