Re: VH Audio Chela speaker cable

HumanMedia's point is that (in his experience) a parallel configuration is better than a series configuration (I would agree in concept since I'm not familiar with tri-wire jumpers, only bi-wire jumpers). If the main speaker cable is connected to the low posts (I would also agree with HumanMedia in this); a parallel tri-wire jumper configuration means that one set of jumpers are used to connect the mid posts and another set of jumpers are used to connect the high posts, with both jumpers being *directly connected from the low posts* (not jumping from one jumper to another). The use of "one jumper that touches all 3 binding posts directly (and not two)" is a series configuration as to how I read your wording (perhaps I'm wrong). Bi-wire jumpers are obviously placed in a parallel configuration, and a tri-wire configuration should be treated in the same manner - with both the mid posts and high posts receiving their connections *directly* from the low posts, IMHO.

You should be aware that the silver jumpers sold on eBay might impart a rather pronounced sonic signature based on my experience of silver jumpers when used with copper speaker cables, as I found them to be "a too beautiful thing" (euphonic) so not as "nominally transparent" as copper and SPC jumpers, IMHO. If your speaker cables and/or loudspeaker's internal wiring were silver, this matter would likely be a non-issue. Furthermore, I don't trust the unconventional concept (never saw such before) of two uninsulated ("non-litz") silver wires twisted together.
