Do you have a white US Asylum label pressing (not WLP) of the 1st s/t LP? With the gatefold cover? This is the first pressing and is one of the finest sounding pieces of Rock vinyl I've ever heard. Later pressings don't come close and I have a hard time believing the new re-issue would best it -- or even equal it.
But I wouldn't be surprised if the re-issues of some of the others are better than the original US pressings.

Yea, I have the Asylum label pressing with the gatefold and the re-issue is better.

I do. After hearing "On the Border," I suspect that the reissue will be even better.
