      I've dealt w/ Kevin on many occasions and have visited twice. I assure you that the most important element of dealing with KAB is Kevin himself.

      It is totally ironic that Ortofon would exclude in this way, as usually quality products and their manufacturers seek discreet respresentation to provide QUALITY service (the kind Kevin provides that so many "salons" don't)! It would be sad to think , and I do, that a company with a legacy such as Ortofon's would seek prestige in any other way.

      I for one plan to do something about it and I hope you will too. I will be contacting Ortofon to express my opinion as an owner of two of their cartridges and explain that this policy will cost them a customer. Kevin has always been a loyal fellow audiophile and I know where my loyalities reside.

      BTW the 1200 is a fine TT in its areana...music reproduction!
