  from a clumsy,non-audiophile guest in your home that would mistake it for a beverage coaster...Saw somewhere on the net awhile back a novelty company that takes record labels like that and sells them as coasters...Gasp ! the horror of it!...then again, I've seen those vinyl lp chip n' dip bowls ,too(is that considered art or kitsche, or kitsche-art,or utility art,etc.??).... ;o)

    and made a chip bowl out of it in the microwave using a ceramic bowl as a mold. I achieved my goal, the friend I gave it to asked me if I'd lost it. I finally told him it was TRASHED! Although the microwaving made the vinyl look shiny and new, before it was "re-created" it looked like someone had tied it to the bumper of a car and dragged it for 20 miles...but the label looked good!
    If I had more money, I'd soon be broke...but I'd have more LP's!

    even with DSL it takes much too long. The software I have to resize is a major PIA to deal with, so I don't. What would be great is if the AA site for pix automagically resized to a set standard ala eBay, audiogon, etc...

    Somehow the posted photos actually end up much larger and unwiedly than the file I download to the AA gallery...

    Maybe we can convince AA to put a maximum on the photo files downloaded through their server?

      A google image search on "tyra banks" shows that most internet images are 100K or smaller. But again, 270K is not outrageous in the scheme of things.
