This wonderful cartridge requires an arm that can control it, one designed for medium to heavy mass. In the alternative, an arm which is very sturdy can be made, more or less, compatable by using weights designed for the purpose between the cartridge and mount. I have used it both ways, initially with an Alphason, now with a VPI.
