Doesn't always get it right. I'm talking about seller rjputnak. In his mind he is "The Greatest". I purchased a semi-rare late 1930s Sylvania spring-suspension 2A3 from him via eBay. It came in a Priority Mail box which was OK, but no bubble wrap or styrofoam peanuts. Just newspaper and it wasn't even crumpled up, it was folded. The tube was DOA.When I asked him to submit a USPS insurance claim, he told me to initiate it. When I questioned his packing, he came back with the infamous "How dare you... ". He then blamed the DOA on "Kinetic energy" during shipping. Everything you need to know about rjputnak can be seen in the feedback that he leaves for others (see link below). It's all about him.

I think it was very clear that I was writing about someone else. Since his eBay ID rjputnak is basically his name, I will spell it out: Bob (Robert) Putnak.

ALERT! This Ebayer knows a bargain! Thanks for trading!
Hi. Glad you brought this up. My impression of "rjputnak" is just the same as yours. A long time ago, I bought a very rare WE-211E tube from him at $280. It was DOA. I even didn't know if it was good when it left his hands. I told him about what had happened to the tube and tried to negotiate a partial refund amicably. It turned out to be a nightmare. After several futile attempts to get him to listen, I resorted to Squaretrade mediation, which didn't help change his mind at all. I posted negative feedback about him after all this, and he retaliated against me with negative feedback. It is the only "negative" that I have received since I became an eBay member three years ago. It seems that I am on his "black list" because I am banned from bidding on his items on eBay. What a great charater he is!

Who would dare question him with his 6000+ rating? He does have 23 negatives and lots of neutrals. You can bet those numbers would be several times that if it were not for his "bullying" tactics and threat of retaliatory feedback.
