  ...when I listened to the Pi-40s I was astonished by the poor performance. I though it was the pair in the store but a friend listened elsewhere an confirmed it.

      Yeah I found that, more coherent. Less range though.

      I just seems like the crossovers or drivers are sub standard - For a speaker at any price.
