  This can only mean that sociologists have misread youth once again. No one (youth, particularly) buys music for the words and no one listens to the music (teens, particularly) for the words. Any behavior of the teens was probably there before the lyrics were heard.

  This silliness shows how adults misread youth on a regular occasion in addition to showing how much they've misunderstood their own childhood and are hardly qualified to even HAVE children.
