Their eponymous album is one of the all time classics. Their use of brass in rock was pioneering and inspired Chicago, etc.
The very first BST album is a great sounding album put out on DCC CD. I recommend it.The second album which you mention is an excellent album as well. Sound is a bit piercing on CD to my ears.
That with with Randy Brecker (pre skunk-funk, 7th Ave. South days), wasn't it? And Mike Bloomberg? That was cool. Saw them live a few times, from what I recall they were pretty good, but then again my tastes were so much different then.Mike M
