I had seen her before on one of the other late-night shows and bought her CD based on that performance. She REALLY is enjoyable when she just performs ONE number this way; the fact she's very attractive doesn't hurt either!!My opinion is that the CD is too much of the same thing (not a novel idea here). I feel the same about my Jacintha CD or the collected works of the Cowboy Junkies.
I made the opposite mistake with Beth Hart--I didn't buy her CD because the single "LA Story" that the smooth jazz station played was too laid back and sweet. I was surprised to stumble onto her TV performance (but I didn't know it was her)--a real blues stage presence, belting out "You betta Get your Shit Together" in a near-Joplinesque/ Susan Tedeschi growl. I bought the CD next day and love the variety of her styles (something I don't find in Norah Jones).

Our local station replays old Leno/ Conan shows (though I've never figured out the exact cycle) that give me a chance to see shows I've missed. But this is like 2 or 3 in the morning-- sometimes I'll nod off only to wake up to Patty Griffin right there singin' in my bedroom. What a pleasant surprise!Bruce
just nbc afik. it would be nice to capture norah in the NUDE. ;^)
NOW he tells me. theres tvguide.com where you can search out programs i think. my dcaughter does it all the time so she doesnt miss ANYTHING with nsync!

Did I tell you how good looking she was????? She REALLY is beautiful "au naturel." Oh, and she performed your favorite song, with Kurt Elling and Freddy Cole doing back-up vocals. Sorry you missed it!Bruce
