We are very lucky here down under with both the programming and the quality of the broadcasts. I tried to sleuth out the equipment being used by the ABC (Australia that is, not the USA) some time ago but never found any answers. Any fellow Aussies know? The only downside where we live is terrible multi path distortion but we have a pristine signal off satellite so I've run coax all around the house to pipe it out of the main lounge/listening broom.
BTW, our Aussie ABC has a net shop site with some good, reasonably priced CDs (US inmates note that $A100 = $54 USD) that some of you might like to look up. Go to

I posted recently about a great set of CDs - their classic 100http://shop2.abc.net.au/abcasp/browse/product.asp?product_id=330714&category_id=&promoID=1125
This is an excellent set both quality wise and artistically and features some of the world's top artists. At $49 USD for 8 CDs it is a steal.
