What Eva Cassidy recording are you referring to? I've heard she is an excellent female vocalist and I'ld like to know which recordings by her that you would recommend.
Thanks,

Follow Ups:
Her passion hit home after one listen and bought them all. Unfortunately, there are only a handful, “SongBird” gets borrowed and not returned the most.
get her CD And So Much More. There is a very beautiful song on that CD that I love called
"Next Time I Love"...simply beautiful. I don't know why Eder hasn't got more recognition. In my mind she is the modern day Barbra Streisand...

...when I heard her in in a live concert about 3 years ago she sounded like a watered down version of Streisand. I think Streisand is arguably perhaps the greatest voice in the last 30 years or so, especially with her delivery. I like Bette Midler a lot also and she is very special. Linda Edder is a copy of Streisand and I really didn't hear anything unique or original about her voice to warrant "stardom". She's not bad, but she is, by far, not one of the great voices around as far as I'm concerned and certainly not special. I guess I have no chance of getting a date with her in the near future.

Her voice is her own. She does not compare her voice to other great singers and neither do I. I'm just saying that her latest CD is worth a serious listening. She is comfortable singing within three octaves, excellent pitch, dynamic range, and emotional expression. I also think that there will be more to come in the future. Linda Eders is worth listening to in my opinion and I would really like her to be recorded by the Chesky Brothers on vinyl with a first class Big Band! That would be my dream date.
