My wife and I -finally- signed up for Costco memberships and were pleasantly surprised with the good values to be found.I was especially impressed with their party / deli platters that you order in advance. The sandwiches, meat platter, shrimp, and turkey roll-ups where very good! We ordered a bunch for a recent party we had.
I would have to carefully research the brand and models of the flat TV's and computers to determine if they are in fact CURRENT or soon to be discontinued models - and if the pricing is competitive. A low price on an older model isn't always a great value in electronics.

The genetically modified food (plums the size of oranges, the grapes the size of plums for crying out loud) and the horrendous car park is bad enough, but the fact that we would go in there to buy $50 worth of things and come out with $200 worth of crap. Spending more rather than actually saving was just daft.

...all models of TV's are discontinued or become older models. So why the worry? Costco has very liberal return policies so you're pretty safe. And the TVs and electronics are likely to be newer than many stores simply because of their high turnover. If you've not been to a Costco, you'd be amazed at the amount of stuff they shove out the door every day. Did you know Costco is the largest US distributor of Dom Perignon champagne?

Not sure if they have wine around here. I should sign up for Costco. I was impressed by the Florida Store I went to.

Crank up your talking machine, grab a jar of your favorite "kick-back", sit down, relax, and let the good times roll.Eagles may soar, but weasels do not get sucked into jet engines.

I'll have to see if I can find any wine at my local Costco. Somehow I kind of doubt it because even the grocery stores here don't have wine..... probably due to antiquated laws based on old puritan history. Many California grocery stores have wine but I've never seen a wine section in a Colorado grocery store.
