Hi,
do you have compared Audio Consulting (4N)vs. VenHaus (4N) silver wire to build the VH fine silver interconnect (or any other silver DIY IC)?
Best regards,
Beto
P.S. Also there is Jupiter (5N)silver wire

Follow Ups:
I recognize you are seeking advise from someone who has a/b'd these wires. I have not, but I use AC (cotton jacketed silver) and VHAudio wire (pulsar, ac wire, etc.) in my projects, and I don't think you could go wrong with either one of these high quality silver wires. The guage is similar. VHAudio is already jacketed in cotton and its his recipe so why not go with VHAudio? I've read other posts by Brian at diyhifi.com that silver that is soft annealed is an important characteristic in addition to purity and guage. Please let us know your results. This should be an outstanding IC.

Silver must be soft annealed, to give it the right tone. Otherwise it can have the negative characteristics that people ascribe to silver- bright/harsh/thin.

wich will be the right one:
-Audio Consulting
-VH Audio
-Jupiter
On recipe side:
-Audio Consulting advises: just twist in pairs, then isolate with cotton sleeve (A.C. wire has also a thin insulation)
-VH Audio fine silver cable: with a teflon tube to separate consuctors in a semi air dialectric.
-Özhan Atalay's air dialectric IC http://www.nonamehifi.com/indexe.htmAll seems to be great, but I cant try all 3 of them due budget limit. Since I need to do 2 pairs, maybe I can do 2 of them to comapare, but, first, is a must to know inmates experiences, because will be better to do just one design.
I have a 300B SET amp, and one IC will be for my tube phono stage and one for the CD.
Best regards-
Beto
p.s.this 3 aproaches is the fruit of a previous topic: the best IC under 180 US$

I'd go with the VH Audio. Not sure about your recipe though, try several ways.

I would insulate each wire before twisting to better dampen the wires and provide some spacing of the conductors. My cable merry-go-round ended thanks to the Audio Consulting wire.
