Has anyone compared Ear to Ear power cords with VH Audio Flavor Four, AZ Tsunami, Audience and other cables of the same price range? And what is the difference between Red and Black models?

I've had some good experiences with these E2E chords, and listened to them extended listening against some excellent VHAudio designs. I will say that my feeling about power chords is that they are a synergistic choice. Depending on the sound characteristics in your system, different chords prove to sound "better" to different listeners. All of the E2E chords I've used have the Marinco connectors. My VHAudio chords all had Furutech FI25G connectors.I changed back and forth over a period of about 5 months playing various types of music on vinyl and various digital formats. The Red chords were an improvement over the Flavor 1 and 2 chords I implemented on digital source and preamp respectively - deeper staging and more treble extension and slightly deeper and more refined bass. When I exchanged VHAudio Flavor 4 for the Red chords on my monoblock amps, the differences were more difficult to discern. I more or less considered Flavor 4 and Red chords a wash. I still considered this very good for E2E considering the price point.
With the Red chords, the sound could be bettered in the area of smoothness and balance in the midrange. So I decided to order Black chords for the amps and preamp, and moved the Red chords to the digital source. After my initial 50 hours or so of listening, it was already apparent that bass and midrange had improved significantly. After some more listening, it was apparent to me that the Black chords were clearly worth the extra cost for the better neutrality, balance and coherence provided to the music. The more subtle nuances of the music were enhanced while adding body and energy in the mid and lower registers. In this case, I think it as important to implement these chords on all components to achieve the staging, sweetness and smoothness that had been eluding me.
I purchased a BAT VK-31SE preamp to replace my Blue Circle BC-3000. I ran more power chord tests and came to the same conclusions.
The main drawback to Ear to Ear power chords, especially the Black chords, is their inherent difficulty with maneuverability due
to their heavier gauge. The lightweight NuForce amps initially had problems staying in place, but solved this my bending the thick gauge cables and adding weights to the top of the diminutive amplifiers.

I was at the E2E designer's place one day for a quick audition of the E2E Black vs. a CyroClear Silver-2. We were swapping the cords on a Mark Levinson amplifer he was using at that time (a N332 I believe).There was no problem telling them apart, with the Black the presentation seemed obviously clearer. However I liked the sound with the Silver-2 as well and would have to get one home to do a more thorough shootout. I should point out that since that time power cords, the whole line in fact, has gone through an improvement. I'm using the earlier Blacks and next week will be comparing new vs. old; the new one I'll be trying also have fancy (and pricey) Furutech connectors that the designer has taken a liking to; more and more Furutech stuff is showing up in the line either standard or as options.
The main difference between Red and Black is the size of the conductors, the Black using larger conductors; silver on copper teflon insulated conductors of various gauges are used across the entire line (speaker, IC, and power cords). This makes the Black bulkier and harder to work with although the Red isn't exactly wimpy.
I had all but decided on a Red for use with a Jolida JD100 CDP after trying it back to back against some cords I had around (Bolder Cable Company Nitro, a DIY WireWorld Stratus III, JungSon JPOC-03) when I decided to try a Black for fun. Surprisingly there was a immediate sense of an increase in resolution/information/definition which is generally what you notice with E2E power cords IME but there was more with the Black.
I've since upgraded from the Jolida JD100 but the funny thing about that player was that without the E2E cord and isolation footers (squishies) I can't say I even liked the sound, with them it was a very nice CDP.
