I'm familiar with both a counterfeit and authentic Oyaide (P-037). Please describe your findings per the counterfeit's build difference to the authentic. TIA

Follow Ups:
Sure, first the packaging, plastic bags not the metal cans, (I got 046's from Chris VH, came in metal can of course) Second the metal inserts in the plug case/body that the two screws go into that connect the actual plug to the plug body, the real ones don't have inserts. Third shade of color blue is lighter then real plug. Fourth looks exactly the same as the counterfeit plug that you posted about a while back and that is on the Oyaide website including the packaging.BTW there is a person on A-gon right now W&M, user id Sounds_dope, who is selling pc's using these crappy plugs claiming there $160 which is pretty much insinuating that there are Oyaide. Guy didn't respond to my email asking directly what brand they were. There's another POS

Yep, that's the same fake P-037 I posted about. Like you mentioned, among other differences the fake's threaded metal inserts are a dead giveaway that can easily be noticed when viewing a photo of it. I bet the fake P-037 photo shown on Oyaide's "Warning!!" support page link that you posted in the other thread is the exact unit I shipped to Oyaide's US distributor for examination :-D

Man you have sharp eye, they are indeed Oyaide Fake - they have the gold/metal insert and the blue body have that imperfection in all of their plug (maybe it's a problem with chinese mold injection as it does come out smooth like the real Oyaide)!I really feel bad for those who are bidding on the cord - hope they don't bid it up thinking it's the real Oyaide there...

SUCK!!!! and when they are found out the should be out’ed and banned from doing business. A-gon needs to do there part and do the right thing. This hobby is $$$ and is difficult enough to get everything just right. The last thing people need are A-holes trying to rip us off.
