I'll soon own a Quicksilver preamp to use with Behringer pro amps and modified Magneplanar MMG's. I want to run long IC's rather than long speaker cables. The IC length will probably end up being around 5 meters long. What cheap ICs would work well for this application without breaking the bank? I would like to keep the retail price below $300 if possible, so I'm guessing that would be the equivalent of about a $50-$75 per meter IC. I realize at this price, most of the money is in the termination, not the cable.
In the past I have used mostly AQ and Wireworld cables, but none of the recent models, and not am]nything longer that 1M.

Two suggestions: 1) If you want shielded, DIY w/ DH Labs Studio Pro available from Parts Connexion. 2)If you want excellent stock solution at upper end of your price range consider Alpha Core Micro Pearl Silver.

ElementCable has both copper and silver conductor ICs (shielded and unshielded) that are priced per foot and should fall within your price range. You can choose the termination (Eichmann or Cardas).
