Silver for 20 bucks?????????????

Follow Ups:
I actually got to listen to that digital cable vs. other much more expensive ones. That Cryotweeks digital cable is the real deal and will shame many $200-300 name-brand cables.

Bought a couple of them for use in my digital links and thought they sounded okay, but not much more than that. Since I had a pair, though, I put them into a CDP-linestage link. Whoa, what have we here?So now I've just about totally rewired my system (EXCEPT the digital links) with this stuff. Caveat: It can be too bright in a forward-sounding system. Clear as a bell in mine, and very musical. Only other potential problem is that it comes just in 1-meter lengths. Easy to splice and reterminate, though. I never would have believed I'd end up using silver interconnects :-)

It IS bargain of the century, especially the way you are using. If you like this cable for IC, then you should check out Cryotweek's (now discontinued) CT series silver interconnects. The digital cable uses non-OCC silver center with silver-plated copper as return, but his "real" IC uses continuous-cast silver for both signal and return and sounds fantastic.

I gotta tell you that usually you get what you pay for. The whole key to digital information tansmission is data flow rates which are predicated on the tolerances of the cable and connectors. I notice that the tweek geeks also sell Hamonic Tech wires.Ultimately you should try this wire. It seems the Tweek Geeks have a thirty day return policy. Try the silver cable. If it doesn't hit the nail, go for the Hamonic Tech. Maybe buy both and try them side by side and return the one you like less.
It is all about what sounds best to you. OTOH, if you budget is restricted $20 gives you a choice against the OEM cable for now, and later you may decide you want to try others when you have more $$'s to tweek you stuff.
