A few years ago I bought an egg crate of 100 Ei12AX7s.

When it arrived, I pulled a few to see how they would measure. Much to my delight, they all measured the same, identical measuring triodes, very low noise and low microphonics.

A few people bought 10, tried them out, and bought 10 more. Some people bought 20. People who bought 10-20 let me know that they had excellent results in phono amps.

The assertion of microphonics problems seems to be at odds with my anecodital experience using them, and at odds with the anecodital experience of a few people who took the time to let me know how they functioned in their phono stages.

My limited experience is that they sounded as good as TFKN<> 12AX7s, are less expensive, and measure better.
