""annoyed by video "reviews' of anything""Big +1 on this. I'm not one of those that deplores the whole YouTube/TikTok omniverse in which we now live. Some aspects can be informative and entertaining. But I really can't handle video reviews of components. Even 10 minute ones. When I read a review, if I get interested, I often skip around and backtrack to re-read parts or to look at the measurements, specifications, or listings of the music samples and associated equipment. Sometimes I start with a quick glance at the specs, and if the list price is out of my league, depending on my mood, I may not bother.
Can't do any of that in a video.
. . . in theory, practice and theory are the same; in practice, they are different . . .
