I should have provided the reason the guy created the thread I linked above.
The title of this guy's thread is "Tubes vs. Solid State: The secret truth they don't want you to know." He is warning everybody not to purchase tube components because they do not provide high-fidelity sound. He says his thread is a public service. He does not want potential purchasers to be scammed by the manufacturers of tube products.
As he said in Post 147, the manufacturers "spread falsehoods about tubes and hide the truth from the public."
It should be noted that he has stated in the past that he has no experience at all listening to tube components. He claims repeatedly to be an expert on the subject because he has read about them on the internet. Also, he is adamant that all DACs and solid-state amplifiers sound identical. As he says endlessly, his $8 DAC is "perfect."
