Remember the 1970's when the EPA was cracking down on auto emissions and auto enthusiasts were bitching? As it turns out LA smog has actually improved substantially with changes imposed by CA and the EPA. In other words, it worked. But I hear you about global climate. It's probably too late to do much about it.
