RE: Opinions on vintage Sony CDP

I've always liked Sony players. Never had any issues with them. They've always sounded correct, to my ears. Sold many when I peddled used gear out the basement.

There's an 80s model in my garage system. It's been in there for at least 15 years, all year around. It sees 98 degrees in the summer and 10 below in winter. Never misses a note. If it sounded bad, believe me it would have been gone 15 years ago. For the little money it cost, it's a great match for the system below.
