I have a restored Mac 240 and I am currently using a used but well testing quad of 6L6GC tubes. I would like to have replacement tubes on hand for this amp and others. I have read that the 6bg6 is an electrically compatible substitution when a base adapter is used.
Is anyone using this tube in their MC240 (or MC30/A116) ?
