Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

Vacuum Tube Valley did a shootout (issue #5) and the Fisher FM-90X was their mono favorite. Lots of mono buffs seem to like the Sherwoods -- S3000 II and III tuners appear daily on Ebay. Lots of Scotts labeled "Stereomaster" are mono tuners with a multiplex output jack on the back, including the most of the 310 series. Then there's always the Dyna FM-1.
