One thing about myself when I make these comparisons,I own the stuff and use it a long time before making a judgement as well as service and rebuild it so its not like I am coming out of the blue with it. One of the common mentioned traits of the 4310 is that it has more of a triode sound where the 10b has more of a pentode sound..While I prefer the sound of pentodes in many cases,I can't always same the same when it comes to line output stages..
