Hello,
I just purchased one of these (Audiogon), and as I await delivery, I've been thinking about one modification I've read about. It has to do with disconnecting two "filter caps" (see link to mention of this modification, below).
Has anyone here actually performed this particular modification? If so, did it really improve the sound as that person claimed?
Finally, if it really is a good modification for this tuner, it seems like it might even be something I could do myself - as long as I could actually identify the proper "filter caps" to disconnect. Here's where I need some help, as I have no idea what a filter cap looks like.
If anyone here has one of these NAD C426 tuners, and is willing to open it up to shoot a photo of the two filter caps in question, I'd really appreciate it! :)
Thanks!
