Home Tube DIY Asylum

Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

Check out all the places you can buy used equipment.

I have owned a Precision Fidelity M7A amp for 20+ years, and found a second amp at a dealer on his used equipment rack with a sign AS IS leaking caps.

I took this to my favorite electrical repair shop and everything tested perfectly. So I paid 315 dollars for an amp that originally sold for 1200 dollars back in the day.

You will be surprised what you can come into if you join a local audiophile club. They will have older broken tube gear they will probably just give to you. Sounds like you could do the repairs yourself!

Cheers
