You will find that there are at least three names that refer to the same topology. Americans for instance call a difference amplifier, a diff amp. The English call it a "long tailed pair". Also the English refer to a battery as an "accumulator" and a ground as an "earth lead". An anode follower and a common cathode amp are the same animals. Math is also cluttered with multiple names that mean the same things. Ther are many talented folks in the TUBE DIY asylum that can help. But fair warning! If this is an asylum then the TUBE asylum is the padded cell. Watch out for the wags! James
