Re: "Inaudible" HF sounds found to affect perception of sound

Along those lines, here's a good story. Back in 1977, my band was booked to provide the entertainment at a dinner-dance sponsored by - The Ohio Association For The Deaf! We had to set up right on the floor, no stage or risers. The vibrations were transmitted through the floor, and the dancers were right in step with the beat, to the point where you wouldn't know they were deaf. Whenever we changed tempo, they picked it up immediately. Of all the gigs, that one will never be topped. Miss Deaf America was a guest that night, and I met her. The local TV stations covered the event. I learned a lot that night. It was truly educational and rewarding.
