I can't discriminate between babble and science. I'm an economist. I only know what my brain tells me: the AVVT meshplate is the best sounding 2A3 tube i ever heard, including the old National Union- and Cunningham-RCA single plates, not to mention either of the 2A3 EMLs.
I'm always told "it's the materials". Who really nows. Dennis? Jac? Who?
