Jeffrey, Are those 4 Solens all wired in parallel? It's hard to tell for sure from your photo.
Thanks for posting these by the way. Excellent photography! I have used the 6EM7 as an input/driver for 300B amps before and it worked pretty well. I preferred using a separate 6SL7 for the input role though and just used the low-mu triode half of the 6EM7 for the driver (with a plate choke).
