Strangely I tried 211 SET in my system. The amp is made by the same guy who built my 10Y/801A (Tatic Audio, Serbia) and despite more of the thorium light which is nice, I preferred a lower powered 801A amp. Truth to be told, the 211SET had a coupling cap and the PSU wasn't as elaborated as mine (solid state rectified, mine is with U52), but if that demo of a work-in-progress 211 unit is anything to judge from, in my room I don't miss any drive. However I have to add that my speakers' performance is short from perfect because the room is too small so I keep them too close to a back wall so it's really a question what kind of improvement is needed so I can hear it.
OTOH, I have no experience with really powerful amps with my speakers. Apart from the SET, most of the time I spent with F3. I tried briefly a dedicate BD-Design gainclone, 30w, not my cup of tea. Actually I was pretty shocked how this amp grabs the Swing's balls - a few 2A3&300b designs I tried here were far from it.
As to the "state of the art 5-way", could be that I was tripping. I have no room for that. Even my poor Swings are suffering in 22m2. Also, I believe I know nothing about horns to be able to make them better the Swings which are after all a truly extraordinary speaker. I yet have to hear a better one but there's a million I haven't yet.
