If your speakers are indeed 104 db 1w 1m, then you and I know that you don't NEED more power. If you simply want the option of more power (maybe for other less efficient speaker projects), then do not expect that special "something" that a good 45 based set amplifier offers. Maybe consider a whole other direction for a second amplifier. I have been playing with this Pass F-3 amplifier (15 watts?) and really like it quite a bit. Funny, the thingie gets hotter than my 45 set amplifier ,and, as much as I hate to admit it competes sonically in some of the same areas that drew me to 45's.
