Dave,I am really surprised you are asking this but...
It has to do with the turns ratio. Or another easy way to look at it is the same principle as why a PP amp and why each tube only see 1/4 of the total ration. Because basically they are in parallel in an ac environment.
If you want to look more into this look up in Radiotron ideal transformers... well let's see it starts on page 199 but really you get more out of this on page 201 and 202.
