RE: Electronics Vs The Human Ear --- Which Is More Sensitive.

That was really helpful and informative. Post more stuff like this when you have the time, please.

My listening environment is usually outdoors, in what might be called a quasi-anechoic environment where the free-air paths end in vegetation at about 20 to 30', with no hard or reflective surfaces whatsoever (except the tabletop that the equipment rests on.) It's an unusual environment, and I've heard some things not audible indoors. Sound that appears to emanate from behind me as I face the speakers (at certain narrow frequencies), as one example.
