Certainly I can't prove to you that I'm not a "I know what I hear and all interconnects sound different guy", but by nature and experience, I'm not. However spending 30+ years doing hardware and systems engineering has taught me to trust my observations. So I guess you are correct in that I do trust my ears. And my eyes and my scope and my spectrum analyzer and my voltmeter and...

Since you don't know me, there is no particular reason that you should trust my observations without supporting data, and I wouldn't ask you to. As my experience was different from yours I simply wanted to know how you formed your conclusions and I appreciate you filling me in.

I very much enjoy AA and find other folk’s experiences both entertaining and enlightening as I love home audio and the technology behind it. However I do filter what I read through my own experience which says that you can usually trust people’s observations but can rarely trust their explanations.
