Re: USB Devices Jitter Badly

don't want to be misunderstood here - I have a DAC that goes USB-I2S and I feel it sounds clearly better than anything with SPDIF I have ever heard. so much that I have just ordered parts for a large file server that'll allow me to move my entire CD collection to a RAID system.

I've also been known to be among those "audiophiles" who actually heard differences between normal and black CD-Rs, who would argue that demagetizing CDs helps, etc - I still stand by all that, but my USB DAC simply kills whatever I have been tweaking and messing with in the past. No contest.

Jitter? If there's a lot of jitter in what I am hearing, then there must be something else that it does dramatically better than a traditional SPDIF audio interface, even coming off a hard drive (I have a few m-Audio products in the parts bin now)
